During the eSIM installation you can label (name) your new eSIM. For example, you can label your new eSIM “Travel” and your existing physical SIM “Personal” (if you don’t rename your eSIM, it will normally default to the name “Secondary”).
You'll use these labels when you choose which SIM/eSIM you want to use for data services. When voice & SMS become available you will use these labels to choose which eSIM to use for making or receiving calls and messages.
If you change your mind later, you can change your labels by going to:
- Settings
- Tapping either Cellular or Mobile Data
- Tapping the number whose label you want to change
- Tap Mobile Data Plan Label and select a new label or enter a custom label
Please note: all your My Truphone plans purchased via the app will be hosted under this label.
