eSIM
Traditionally, services would be delivered via a plastic SIM in a corporate device. This has the advantage of total corporate control, across both the network and the device.
The emergence of mainstream smartphones with eSIM as standard, allows connectivity profiles to be automatically distributed and controlled remotely. This allows enterprises to provision a second business number on a single personal device, with the same native experience. eSIM also allows for greater distribution flexibility. Organisations can now email a SIM a user rather than needing to ship a plastic card.
