Please follow these steps to migrate to Truphone with a plastic SIM card:
- You’ll receive a physical SIM that will be sent to you by your contract administrator.
- You’ll be notified about the porting date – please make note of this, as you may lose service for a few hours during the process.
- You’ll receive a short text message (SMS) on the scheduled porting date before the process begins. Once the porting of your number to Truphone has been completed, you can use your device to make calls, text and navigate the internet (data) as usual.
Installing your plastic SIM card
If you are going to use a physical SIM, you will need to open the SIM slot of your phone and replace your old SIM with the new Truphone SIM card. We recommend checking your phone's instructions on how to open and replace your SIM card beforehand.
