Truphone is not unique in providing an in-network call recording solution, but the way we do it and the channels we can do it for is. Global by design, we deliver a single in-network mobile SMS and Voice recording solution that works across all the world's major business hubs, with the addition of BYOD, Teams and IM recording in multiple countries.
Most global mobile voice and SMS recording services use apps to record calls, some of which can cause connection delays, in-call latency and reduced phone functionality. As a result, some staff may not use the technology, breaching regulations. This is not true of all applications, Truphone MultiLine for example.
Our Truphone MultiLine application-based recording service eradicates these common issues. However, compliance operations in some financial organisation’s do not accept the perceived risk of application-based recording.

The Truphone Mobile Recording platform is present across six data centers in the EU, US and APAC. From our Points of Presence we interface to your storage vaults, with several resilience options, via your choice of private circuit or VPN.
Traditional mobile voice and SMS recording can be prohibitively expensive while roaming and with some vendors, roaming recording is not available at all. Where other vendors do offer roaming recording, the quality of the call is also inversely proportionate to the physical distance of the user from their regulated recording infrastructure. The call quality suffers as the media is backhauled via the recorder before being connected to the recipient. A good example is a UK regulated user visiting Australia for business. When calling their colleague in Sydney with traditional vendors, the call will travel a “round trip” of 24,000 miles via the UK recorders. This creates almost unusable in-call latency.
By contrast, our patented Call Forking technology handles calls at the nearest POP with only the recorded stream routed back home. As the call itself remains local, both users can enjoy a high-quality call with no connection delays, latency or roaming costs.
